Recently added to the list of Videos is the Dan Pawson's "Jolly Bunch Parade Band" DVD. This Video, shot in May 1983 is a Tribute to that Band and all the musicians who took part in that recording. The Video shows some early footage of Pisford Villiage (the May Queen Festival), "The Market Tavern" in Kettering and "The Buckby Lion" (demolished long ago) East Haddon.

John has added the main text which is of interest in it's own right to the rare footage of Dan and the band at their best. A truely "collectable" DVD with more than 30 Tracks.

This is a genuinely unique sessionBeing an avid fan of Adge Cutler for many years, it had been an ambition of mine to stage a tribute to him, after his untimely death in a car accident while retuning from a gig on May 5th. 1974.I had the privilege of meeting Adge and his band on occasions, while my band was on the same bill What you see here is the entire session warts n all.
No practice/rehearsal was involved, all the songs were relayed to the band members over the telephone………….this was a one off!
The band hadn’t played before or since.I am so pleased I took my camcorder along to capture this memorable evening.Just stood it up the corner and let it run.
Many of these songs can be viewed on YouTube and I am delighted to announce that a book has just been published about Adge, “Adge-King Of The Wurzels” compiled by John Hudson and is available from Amazon.
My thanks go yet again to Chris Reilley who converted this project to DVD and produced the design for the sleeve and leaflet.

Welcome to a trip back through time to the liberated 50's and 60's to recapture the sound of music played "Southern Style".

The band features the music of the great Fats Domino, the legendary Louis Prima and the Rhythm and Blues hits of the era.

We will entertain you with some of 'Fats' hit songs such as "Blueberry Hill", "My Blue Heaven" and "My Girl Josephine" then we will carry you along with us on a journey through some of his lesser known numbers such as "I don't want to set the world on fire", I'm In The Mood for Love" and many more lovely melodies from "The Fat Man".

Following the Louis Prima trail takes us into more "Raunchy" territory with the likes of "Oh Marie", "Buona Sera" and an enduring Favorite"Pennies From Heaven", plus many more "Prima Style". As the band swings along we just have to mix in a number or two from the Jerry Lee Lewis range, including a terrific version of "Mona Lisa".
